My work reflects a culture of sacredness and the permanence of antiquity in our contemporary world. I have developed a technique and style in my painting that joins my love of these two elements with real life humor, and gives me distance from perceived traditions. I don't explain my paintings; rather, I prefer hearing people's unique interpretations as I learn so much from the viewer.
